This is me getting a decaffeinated coffee from the vending machine at work, with the sound of two 5p pieces going into the coin feeder. This is the full take so ends with me singing o myself like an absolute goon.

While i was recording someone sharpening a garden scrape on a dual stone grinding machine, the utensil got stuck between one of the stones and a metal protective bracket, creating a terrifying noise until the motor gives up. This is an old commercial refrigerator from the grocery store. It was making a very nice regular droning sound so i placed my phone inside the fridge to get a clean recording without the noise from the store. Perfect for a spaceship drone or background noise at a factory.

Adapted from the extractor fan clip to make a repetitive industrial cyclical machinery hum.

Some typing on a standard desktop pc keyboard (but you may use it as the sound of a laptop keyboard too). Recorded with a dynamic mic and a directional, condenser mic in a small room, filtered and compressed to minimize noise.

This is one of those kitchen trash cans with a lid that pops open when you step on it. One time i stepped on it a little too hard and the lid bonked against the wall and made this great sound that i then had to record. Stereo 24bit w/ a sony pcm-d50.
